Personal Training Testimonials
TF Fitness work hard to satisfy all of our customers needs and requirements. It's always good to hear a positive response, so we thought we would share some with you
Having felt like I was in a diabetic coma most of yesterday, today I am feeling ever so slight pleased with my achievement. 13.1 miles is a loooonnnnnng way. In training I kept telling myself this was all very 'do-able' - otherwise I think I would have given up on many occasions. However I can now confirm it was very far - put your mile-o-meter to zero tomorrow to remind yourself just how far ....
I have raised in excess of £1,000 for Cancer Research, so thank you so much for your contribution.
I also have to confess that I have had a lot of help from my own 'Mr Motivator' - Tony Fulford. I recommend you give him a call if you need to give your exercise routine a rude awakening and a shake up. Needless to say if he can get me from 100 yards to 13 miles in 8 months then he must be pretty good!!

Tony has helped me to achieve a level of fitness I would never of gained by myself. Tony has the knowledge and skill to push you to the limits but never beyond. I am training for a marathon and with Tony’s assistance and knowledge of cardio vascular and dietary requirements I feel in the best shape of my life.

I have just celebrated my 40th birthday and after working with Tony for a number of months I have reached my goal weight, which incidentally is the same weight I was at the age of 30.
Really appreciate all your hard work.
Suzanne Carr - Lichfield
A big thankyou to Tony, I have always wanted to be in the police
force, but my fitness levels for West midlands were not good enough, with
some hard work from tony (pushing me) to levels I didnt know I could
achieve, I past the fitness test with ease, I have also managed to continue
to keep my fitness levels up. I know i would of still been trying to pass
the test if it wasn't for TF, cheers mate.

I first started training with Tony at the beginning of march 2010. I was weighing in excess of 18st, and totally unhappy with myself and constantly tired.
I Live in stoke at present and commute to work, which means i leave 7am and get back at 7pm, and have always made the excuse that i simply never have time to do exercise or go the gym. However after having a chat with Tony at the beginning of the year, i mentioned that there was a charity walk up Ben Nevis which i would like to do, as i did do it when i was 21, but struggled to get up the stairs at Christmas! After listening to me list excuse after excuse as to why i couldn’t do it, Tony suggested training with him early morning before work, as i don’t have time after work and spend my days off with my partner and daughter. At first the thought of prolonging my day by an extra hour and getting up at 5.30am in the dark and sometimes snow didn’t instantly appeal to me, but thought may as well give it a go, What have i got to lose?
Well as you can see from the photo’s the answer is 4 stone and counting!!
Best decision i’ve made in years, i completed the walk on 19th may, 8lb under my target weight for the trip and did it in 5 and half hours. It took me just under 7 hours the first time and i was only 21 then!
I have been a member of every gym in Tamworth and have had 3 different personal trainers in my time, and have never carried on for more than a 2 month period before getting bored and going back on the “Beer” diet. However i have always loved boxing and always fancied giving it a go ever since i watched rocky 3 as a kid. Tony has managed to incorporate boxing combined with a few weights and varies it each session so that boredom if never an issue and i actually leave the studio looking forward to the next session, and inspired to do extra training and keep to my diet so that i can perform better in sparring the next time and improve on my skills.
It’s unbelievable that i started 2010 over 18 stone, totally unfit and too embarrassed by my body to take my baby daughter swimming! The shame of that has been my biggest inspiration and i take her every Thursday now and it is one the highlights of my week. I look forward to continuing on this positive route to a much healthier lifestyle, and be able to go bike riding and join in on sports day, rather than making poor excuses as to why i can’t get involved in physical activities with my daughter.
If you are in any doubt if it will work or it’s worth that extra bit of effort, the answer is ...YES.
Do it, you wont look back, if its time your lacking, do what i do, just go to bed 1 hour earlier, and get up that hour earlier in the morning, train before work and you’ll feel on top of the world all day long.
So cheers Tony, can’t thank you enough for all your help and motivation, and look forward to our next boxing session.
